Face the Truth Tour comes to South Dakota May 13-15

This May, South Dakota pro-lifers will conduct a “Face the Truth” Tour to call attention to the violence of abortion. Participants in this peaceful demonstration will hold large, graphic abortion signs at sites in Sioux Falls on May 13 and Rapid City on May 15.

Al Carlson of Rapid City has invited the Chicago-based Pro-Life Action League to help coordinate the Tour. Al and his wife Jean hosted the League’s Joe and Ann Scheidler in October 2006 during their visit to South Dakota to join the fight to preserve a statewide abortion ban.

After the ban was overturned by referendum, Joe Scheidler—who has been fighting abortion since 1973—argued that South Dakotans had not seen enough of what abortion does to its unborn victims. So he was eager to visit the state again to help expose the truth about abortion.

Joe’s son, Eric Scheidler, who has conducted Truth Tours in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Maryland, will assist Al Carlson in running the South Dakota Tour.
